Become a Movie Extra in Denver

Colorado-based Dream Maker Films is looking for 5,000 extras in Denver and Boulder for the filming of its first feature-length effort, “The Energy.”    Dream Maker Films is seeking 5,000 movie extras to fill the streets in downtown Denver and Boulder for filming later this year.   The movie, “The Energy,” is in the early stages of pre-production and could begin filming this summer, said Terry Spar, project manager of the film, in a news release.      The scenes in need of extras will be in the first 10 minutes of the movie and “set the stage for a really-fast paced movie with a lot of action,” said Jack Grey, of Dream Maker Films.      “In Denver, we’ll have a lot of people coming out of buildings, suits, lawyers, business people. In Boulder, we’ll have a lot of families — kids, parents, grandparents,” Grey said. “They’ll walk outside and look up into the sky and start pulling out their cell phones and taking pictures and videos of what they’re seeing.”

To be an extra, send an e-mail  to questions@dreammakerfilms.com or go to www.DMFentertainment.com and sign up. Casting staff will automatically contact people after they sign up for profiles, according to the release.
