Free Punkin Chunkin Pumpkin Tossing Festival in Denver on Oct 13
Do you sometimes wonder how far a pumpkin could fly? Then come on out to Punkin Chunkin Colorado fesstival on October 13th at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds. Punkin Chunkin Colorado attracts families, fun-loving adults and anyone who enjoys watching a good pumpkin-smashing session. With contestants called ‘chunkers’ coming from miles around to compete in the yearly games, there’s plenty of high-flying entertainment as the crowds see how far teams can launch a pumpkin. Don’t miss Aurora’s favorite fall festival! The associated festival offers the usual family activities, plus pumpkin carving demonstrations, a pumpkin patch, scarecrow making and more. Entry to the event and most shows is free; tickets for others are on sale at the gate.
