Free FORToberfest in Fort Collins – Sept 21-22

Looking for something fun to do this weekend outside of Denver?  How about a roadtrip to Fort Collins to the first annual FORToberfest, Sept 21 & 22, in downtown Fort Collins?  This is a new event celebrating everything great about Fort Collins! The city’s music scene, rich history of beer brewing, and extremely active bicycle culture help give character to the Downtown area and to Fort Collins. FORToberfest will help bring the three elements of our Fort Collins popular culture together in this new fall event, bicycles, beers and bands.

And of course Colorado music is prominent throughout all that Downtown Fort Collins does. FORToberfest will feature Fort Collins and Colorado bands from funk to bluegrass and rock to indie.  The music begins Friday night with headliner Fort Collins’ 3 Twins Broadband which includes members of the nationally acclaimed The Suddudes.  The Saturday line-up begins at 11:00am and continues throughout the day and evening and includes a dozen Colorado bands of all genres reflecting the many talented musicians in the area. Some of those artists begin featured during the weekend are Beats Noir, Fort Collins’ own Mama Lenny and the Remedy and Denver’s Otone Brass Band who will bring the street celebration to life. All of the entertainment is offered free to the public.
