Free Boulder Creek Hometown Festival this Labor Day Weekend – Sep 1-3
The FREE Boulder Creek Hometown Festival on Labor Day weekend near Denver is the perfect bookend to close out the summer event season in downtown Boulder. Started in 1998, this hometown celebration features over 100 arts & crafts exhibitors in Central Park and on the Boulder Public Library lawn along the creek, great live FREE CONCERTS at the Bandshell, an interactive Sports & Kids Expo, the 3rd Annual Family Fun & Fitness 5K, food court & beer garden, the infamous Chili Inferno Cook-Off, Classic Car Show, and an entire children’s area with carnival rides and exhibitors, the Great Zucchini Race, Big Wheel 500 races, and much more! Don’t miss out on the festivities of this unique community event! There is no charge to get into the Boulder Creek Hometown Festival, and all concerts are FREE!
The free family fun takes place this Labor Day Weekend from September 1 to 3. The Boulder Creek Hometown Festival is located in downtown Boulder on the Boulder Creek, and is held on the Boulder Municipal Building Lawn and on the Central Park lawn (along the Boulder Creek corridor, between 13th Street and 10th Streets, in downtown Boulder). Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and September 3, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, call 303-449-3137.
